Otwenge

This dance gets its name from a bow harp which is the main instrument and performed by both boys and girls from West Nile or North Western Uganda, it borrows its origin from Democratic Republic of Congo. The dance drives its name from the harp locally know as Adungu, the dance is mainly performed by the youth in for their amusement or excitement. Otwenge means elbow where young girls wiggle their elbow during the community gatherings.
